Coin Hank Plus+

The Coin Production Hank is the original creation of Magician Goutam Guha and has been marketed for over twenty years. The original model comprised of two cotton handkerchiefs stitched together in a very special manner. The prop resembled a common handkerchief, but the stitching of the pockets was noticeable at close quarters on both sides. This new improved deluxe model has the pockets separately fitted, so that on one side this appears as a completely plain silk, and can be left with this side on view for extreme close up use. The silky material also makes the working of this much smoother than the original cotton handkerchief version.

Effect : Magician displays a handkerchief. He picks up a clear glass tumbler and covers it with the handkerchief. He then grasps all four loose corners hanging below the bottom of the glass tightly, so the empty glass rests on his closed fist covered by the handkerchief from all sides. The performer then produces a silver coin from the air, shows it to the audience, and throws it into the air. Spectators hear a clinking sound inside the glass tumbler. Likewise the performer produces four coins, one by one, and tosses them into the air, catching them in the sealed tumbler. Magician then takes off the handkerchief and pours out the four coins from the glass. This is the bare bones of the effect.

This handkerchief is an utility prop. Many other interesting effects can be produced with it:

• To Vanish A Marked Coin : Borrow a coin and get it marked. Place it under the Hanky and let a spectator hold it. Now holding the corner tell the spectator to leave the coin. The coin has vanished. Produce the marked coin from any place you wish.
• Copper & Silver Transformation : Show a Silver coin. Hold it at your fingertips. Cover the coin with the handkerchief. Request your spectator to feel the coin. After that hold the corner and lift it slowly. The silver coin has changed to a copper one. Then change it back to a silver one, and back again, as often as you wish..
• Linking Gem Clips : Link 6 to 8 "GEM" or paper clips, simply by covering them with the silk..
• Vanishing Ring : The handkerchief may be used to vanish a finger ring for many effects. .
